TC 2000 Movie

Starring Billy Blanks

Set in the near future TC 2000 is the riveting story of a chaotic society where those in control, well equipped with superior martial arts skills, are set in action against brutal tribe-like criminal gangs. JASON STORM (Billy Blanks) and his partner ZOEY KINSELLA (Bobbie Phillips) are hi-tech cops, under the leadership of THE CONTROLLER (James Hong), whose task it is to contain the vicious thugs, led by NIKI PICASSO (Jalal Merhi), that congre-gate in roving gangs and cause destruction to the unprotected community. Zoey is killed in an attack by Niki’s gang and her body is transformed by the Controller into the perfect killer: part machine, mostly human…totally invincible. After Jason discovers that Zoey’s mission is not just to contain but to exterminate the gangs, he turns in his badge and escapes to live amongst the gangs. Jason meets and teams with SUMAI (Bolo Yeung) a man who is the most feared and respected fighter in the gang community. Jason discovers that the Controller has programmed Zoey to accomplish a more lethal mission: to detonate a long dor-mant nuclear power station which will spread deadly fallout across the city as well as the entire North American continent and possibly beyond. Only then, with the gangs eliminated, would the Controller be able to dominate the world completely. In a spectacular martial arts/special effects finale Jason and Sumai must con-front the combined force of Zoey, the Controller’s police, and the gangs as the nuclear time bomb ticks toward its devastating conclusion.

Dragon (Billy Blanks) is on the loose, knocking off pimps and interfering with gang activities. He strikes at night, violently, then disappears. It’s hard to get a description of him, but gradually, a profile emerges: Afro-American, skilled at martial arts, mean and fast. He’s after someone, or something, but what? Enter Rossi (Roddy Piper), a crack detective from LA’s finest, who works the mean streets of LA. He’s an expert in gang warfare, runaways and prostitution. What Dragon and Rossi have in common is a dedication to their work and they hit with the best of them. Dragon meets his equal. They make a natural team since they’re out for the same thing — justice — they just interpret it differently.
