When the Soviet Union fell apart, kickboxing started to get a boost from the participation of GUS countries. The All Union Council of Kickboxing federation was mainly active in fullcontact fighting, both professionally (ISKA, PKO, WAKO-PRO) and amateur tournaments (WAKO).
Lead by Ukrainian Andrej Chistov and Russian high-profile diplomat Oleg Siberov the Eurasian organization prospered and its fighters gained great experience in international competition. Below find download links to their sophisticated rankings which include many famous fighters like Vitaly Klitschko and Alexander Nechaev. Those ratings were sent to promoters worldwide where fighters from the former Soviet countries received invitations to perform.
